Rachelle's Gift Making Extravaganza Part 2!!!

Post by azemigh »

I've been a busy little bee this week again. I'm almost done with my holiday gift list too. Would love to have everything ready to wrap on Tday week end. We'll see how it goes.

These are the 3 cloaks I made for SCA garb. One for each of my sons and my nephew. We'll all be meeting at an event next May and I'll have them pick out some ornate trim for the edges. The grey looking ones are actually black; the flash washed them out.

And I made another bowl with ocean colors. And 2 reusable bags that will hang on the metal racks at the check out stand.

I did a red themed windchime for my father-in-law's wife and I have several tape measures in the works. The crab happens to be done.

I've also been tracking down other patterns for the sashay and starbella type yarns. I like the little rope scarflets. And they whip up superfast in an evening watching tv.

Thanks, Jill!

I think someone asked on my other thread how I was getting all this done. Well, retirement helps, but we are still in the middle of fishing so I don't have everyday to craft. For sewing projects, I usually take one day and just do all the cutting, then one day I do all the machine sewing and just make a pile for all the hand sewing parts of the projects. And I am always knitting or crocheting at night while we're watching the tube.

I love that measuring tape! The dragon clasp definitely caught my eye - Chris and I are both dragons.
