So perhaps the reason I didn't recall having them. I just KNEW I loved these techniques when the paints were released so I couldn't figure out why I hadn't purchased them. Well, I did. I guess that's really a sign of my aging brain.
You have them???
No distress paints were bought by me yesterday - at one point I did see the display but forgot all about it by the time "shopping" happened!
Still have a few techniques from this day to finish up.
Here is the colored crackle technique. I only have grungepaper, so I have a little more curl happening, but I love the rock candy crackle and do this tech a lot.
The top and bottom leaves I added Dusty Concord stain to and the middle I left alone.
first one is the distress paint. I had to buy some paint (I know) and I like the effect. Would work good on journals too!
second tag is altered surface. The picture turned out kinda small, but she is sitting in the middle of a mud puddle! The flower tin is something that I got in a grab bag a while back.
third tag is eroded metallic. Loved this one! When I finished the background, I knew that the mouse trap that I had altered a while ago needed to go there!
