Serious lag time in email advice

I am not complaining just letting you know that there is some serious lag time in email notifications about subscribed topics and private messages.

I noticed that with pm notifications (I don't ever subscribe to threads so don't know about that part)

I don't ever worry about it though because I am here so often.

I'm not sure if that would be a site thing or a host thing. Of course this board talks so much that it might need extra time to sort messages out.

I got two PMs this morning and the advice came through fairly quicky to my email. I wonder if the problem is now fixed.

Possible - the host tends to do things with the board not being made aware of it.

I noticed it too- but I'm with Christy - I check the board so often that I would know about new posts before my e-mail box even if it the notifications weren't lagging.
