Another AJ page (but wait! there's more!)
Another AJ page (but wait! there's more!)
This is an assignment for the class I'm taking.
We're supposed to write down three significant events in our lives and then take a look at how those events changed our lives. This was truly very difficult to do. I avoided it for 2 solid weeks and still haven't gotten past the first one.
I realize I'm a big girl and could skip right over it. Instead I'm going to focus on the courage I've had to display to let it go. Many times.
My plan is to journal about the first time I was able to face it head on. I'll put that journaling between two pages and seal them shut. That's where it can stay.
I'm not a fan of recording painful events but somehow this feels okay.
Anyway...lace and twill tape and rubons and glass bead medium mixed with dimensional pearl paint and chipboard and I think I like it!

Re: Another AJ page
great job on the page
Re: Another AJ page
Thanks!
Here's another set I did tonight. Pretty much like Christy's from the class but different enough to feel like they're mine. I covered up some journaling at the top of the orange page with a piece of doily - it needs something but not tonight. I'm too sleepy. YIKES! Do I have the measles!?!? Oh - nope, I picked up a wet circle stencil. (ha!)

Those are wonderful! I love the idea of journalling some of the tougher times in life that we have to deal with, even it's hard to do. You've done a great job with these.
