Pink Paislee warehouse sale challenge

Post by Yoli »

Although not everyone has received their box of goodies yet I thought I would post the challenge to get some ideas flowing.

For this challenge you are asked to make something (LO, card, ATC, altered project) using at least one product from your Pink Paislee box that wasn't necessarily your style. This challenge will help us think outside of the box (forgive the pun) and create something beautiful that we might not have otherwise.

Challange is open until the end of Sept. If you need more time let me know. In the meantime, let me see if I can round up some goodies as prizes. :-)

I used some of the Hometown Summer papers and stamps along with some papers that I thought I'd never use and made a little journal for our camper. Here are the cover and the first page. Now I just need to print a photo to add.

Great job on that Pam. I didn't get the PP but will be happy to see what you all do with your goodies.

Funny that I picked one of the same papers that Pam C. had used. This is a jr. legal pad cover that I wanted to make so that I could show a friend what they looked like.

I love that House of 3 map paper. The colors work really well with most photos. I'm going to use it for a travel journal cover.

Good job with these Hope!

Those are great notebooks! They are so nice to have ready, when you need them! And I love how you both did the same paper on one---they are too cute!!!

Nice job! I suspect that collection will be what I choose also if I do this challenge. Even though I do tend toward the cute when I'm doing layouts about the kids, that collection still didn't speak to me. The other option for me is to use some of those larger dimentional embellishments. I tend to shy away from those, and I need to make sure the ones that came don't just wind up in a drawer.

Love this challenge Yoli!
