I'm officially exhausted...

Post by nchoney »

My co-worker hikes the Appalachian trail a couple times each year... sections of it at a time... and this past Spring, he had a bunch (over 100) really great photos from 4 days of hiking. SO... I swiped them off his SD card and then had them printed and decided to make him a scrapbook for Christmas. I did a lot of die-cutting with the Silhouette.. and had things all planned out so I could work on this thing during October or November... but then things got busy and then Chevie was being such a pain to deal with that I couldn't get anything accomplished....

Fast forward to this weekend.... my last free time before our last week at work together before Christmas... so it HAD to be done. I scrapped all day yesterday and have just now finished his 38-page scrapbook... Hooray!!!

I'll post photos later... after I sit and rest for a while... LOL

What a wonderful album, Debi. It makes me want to read again Bill Bryson's "A Walk in the Woods".

Such a generous gift! I know he’ll love it and I hope he spends some time journaling in it.
Our niece’s husband hiked the entire trail years ago. I was an adult before I even knew of the AT. It has to be an amazing adventure to hike even a small portion.
You did a great job!
