Tuesday Morning Score!

Post by paddlegal »

Don't judge me but this just tickled me no end.

My Tuesday Morning is literally around the corner from my home conveniently in the same shopping center as my grocery store. I've been a very good girl and haven't looked there in months. But something lured me in and I found 7 different Echo Park kits for $5.99 each. I know they are older kits but that makes no difference to me since I am so behind in what is "it" right now. I am proud to say I only bought two! And yes, they have sticker sheets for clustering. But I am also hunting down some photos so I can do Jen's April sketch challenge. There is one saying in Here and Now that's inspiring me to scrap something.

Love these two kits...Here and Now and Take Note, both by Lori Whitlock.

We don't have one. Great score. At that price I would have picked up all of them.

Both are great kits. I tend to like Lori's collections.

In one of Shimelle's classes, she mentioned that when she looks at product (like the sticker sheets here), she feels like if she can use 75% of it, she's getting her money's worth. Obviously, we should all have our own % to consider but I like the idea.

Congrats on this find - great price!

That is exactly what I did Pam. There were several other kits that I liked but I knew I would never use the stickers. These two have loads I want to play with. Last night I printed my photos and hopefully this weekend I'll be making at least one LO and a few cards too.

Wonderful find; I'm sure you'll get your money's worth out of both. I've always been a fan of Echo Park kits, and also Lori Whitlock's designs. Looking forward to seeing what you make.

I just found out that Tuesday Morning is beside Joann Fabric in F'ville. Whoo hoo! Next time I'm up there I'll stop in to see if I can find some good bargains.
