You must be mistaken. She’s only about 15, right?! This bit of news (along with Maya turning 18) is causing me a lot of stress!

Seriously, I do wish them the best. How are you holding up?

Maddie will be 20 in Sept. :-o I didn't see it coming at all, especially since Matt is in Afghanistan right now. I didn't even know they were a serious item. She's asked George to give her away, and he said yes. I hate the schism between Jim and his children, and I hope that time will heal it.

I really don't know how I feel about this. a. I'm glad I taught her how to cook. b. He has no idea how high maintenance she is. Other than that, I think I'm still in shock.

One thing for sure, they will benefit from all the love and support from you and George. Marriage isn’t easy, is it, Ladies?

It's hard for me to think of Maya as 18, Ryleigh isn't a baby anymore, and Pam's granddaughter is growing up right in front of our eyes. They grow up so fast, even though we see the photos here and the changes in them every time they visit. I think we have a picture that's in our mind's eye and it's hard to reconcile with the present.

Whoa, nelly belly. Maddie grew up, and we just went along...

It's disconcerting, to say the least.

I do wish Matt and Maddie my best.

Not seeing my grandsons in person since July 2016, only FaceTime, long story, but last weekend in person was an experience. Lots of changes there! ;)

Congrats to the happy couple! And Pam C is right, marriage isn’t easy, even after 42 years.

NONE of them are little any more :(

Still looking for that pause button to make time slow down.

Congrats to them Pam. It is an exciting time for sure (probably more so for them than those who still see them as the littles they once were)

Let me tell you, I'm a great grandmother and don't get to see any of them very often any more but every time I do I can't get over how big my grands have gotten. Time is on a jet now a days for Joe & I.

It feels like yesterday I was scrapping toddler photos
of my grandsons and now the first born has his
Master's degree and started his first REAL job with
Northrop Grumman in Baltimore 2 weeks ago.
He'll turn 24 this coming August; and grandson #2
gets his Bachelors degree this May.
Now I'm really feeling old
