Happy 4th of July everyone. I hope you all have a great day doing whatever you enjoy on this day.

We 3 (before our son disappears for the day) are headed out shortly for our tradition of attending our neighborhood Pocket Parade. This is a typical old fashioned style parade with kids on decorated bikes, fire trucks new and old, bagpipes (my all time favorite part) horses, marching band (the other favorite), local business floats and of course local politicians in convertibles.

Cheryl & Kurt H invited us to a day on their pontoon boat. It's 7:30 and I'm wiped out! Good food, perfect weather, and friends. We had a great time.

Hope you all had a great day! I spent the last two days at Loon Lake with my sister & her family. Good food, fireworks and I got to Padddleboard yesterday - such fun!

Glad everyone had a good day. We were quiet here and just did more stuff getting the house together. We are going to the beach tomorrow and it won't be quite as crowded as the holiday weekend. We plan on getting our annual pass since we are now living here full time, cheaper than paying each time we go. I don't go in the water but love walking on the beach and just sitting on our chairs and watching everyone.
