Bathroom remodel

Post by pamcook »

Here's where we are tonight. After some raised voices, "we" have a plan for re-working the drawers because YES I DO NEED ALL THAT DRAWER SPACE!!!! Oh - sorry. The top two drawer fronts are ready to install but we want to be able to see inside to work on the others.

One of the globes shattered on installation (of course) so we like them better without globes. The back of the light fixtures covers the holes well enough.

Did I tell you all the story of my brand new faucet that's DEFECTIVE?!?! How Amazon refuses to exchange it? Waiting for a part from Delta and I need to buy a shower curtain and decide on a piece of artwork.

Opinions? Do I want a towel rack or towel hooks?

Your shower looks gorgeous and yes, of course you need all those drawers! Love the sink style too. Hope you get Amazon squared away. That surprises me that they won't let you return it! Deep breath...it's going to turn out fabulous.

It looks lovely. Thanks for the photos.
That is surprising about amazon. I thought they thought they were perfect!

It's looking great. I love the shower tile. Yes, you need all that drawer space. What is he thinking

Personally I like hooks. Guess it depends on what meets your needs.

On a side note: going to the flea market tomorrow. There's a health expo going on at the Exposition Bldg. It's in connection with the City of Oaks Marathon which is Sunday. Free to the public. I'll keep on the lookout for you.

Love the shiplap and the subway tiles! As far as towel hooks, I'm partial to hooks over bars, but that's just me. Rob uses a bar and often gets frustrated when Jake takes the towel and then hangs it back over the bar in a wad. I'm pretty good about not wadding the towel on my hook, and it seems to take up less space and dries out just as well.

Nice job!

Very pretty. I like towel bars because my towels don't seem to dry as well on hooks.

The man at Delta said "We always recommend you shop locally." My mantra for food - thought I was being thrifty by searching for the best prices and spacing out my purchases.

Yes, Carol - we'll be there after getting our groceries at the farmers market. Waiting for the sun to come up.

So, how do you have real drawers with the sink in the center? Are they narrower than the drawer fronts? It really looks very pretty, Pam.

I love it! Not going to chime in on the bar vs hook because I have both.
