Login woes

Post by paddlegal »

Is anyone else having trouble staying logged in today? Starting this afternoon I am having to login nearly every time I come here. I rebooted but the problem remains. Just wondering...

Does seem to happen every once in a while. I think it happened a few times yesterday.

I never log out. You can still clear your cache and stay logged in. It's just one less password I have to remember.

I try not to ever log out.
When I got this new laptop I logged in with out my firewall on and no virus protecton.
I did get the virus protecton and firewall on right away.
Didn't have any problems for a long time by doing it that way.

I have the problem from time to time, too.
I'd clear out my cache - but I have no idea what that means!

 Thanks Pam. I feel so much better because I don't know either. That and cookies. But I never log out...IT logs ME out! Repeatedly yesterday. We'll see how today goes otherwise I'll have to figure out what the heck a cache is.

Depending on what browzer you use. It should be in tools -internet options- browsing history -then delete

I always save my passwords but you don't have to
But you'll have to type in them at all your sites

Thanks Jill. Other than first thing this morning, I am good so far. Fortunately I have two tech savvy guys in the house when I get really desperate.

I always get bumped off, ALWAYS. I am sure it has to do with my browser etc, but I just log back in. I get logged off if I have been away for about 30 minutes. This has been happening since I have been here, so nothing new here. Other sites I keep logged in all the time, but PAO, no way. Doesn't really bother me cause I know it's probably my fault with my outdated browser etc.

I never log out either. I have found that if I do a quick check in then leave right away that seems to log me out. If I browse for a while I don't have that problem.

Dunno what to tell you all. I have my browser set to automatically delete cookies, ache and browser history every time I close it, which may be why I dont' seem to have this issue.

Same here Monica. I can go for months and it never logs me out - then some days, it logs me out multiple times. Always glad when it stops!

I stay logged in, and have never been bumped off. And I have never cleared my cache, whatever that is  The only time that I have problems, was when I first started to use my ipad to check PAO. It would constantly log me of on that. Now I just keep it open in the windows page on the ipad, and no problems. Guess that I am lucky! (off to buy a lottery ticket, again!!)
