I have a very minimal design style...and this year was even LESS.

I opted for a small tree because I knew I'd hardly be home to enjoy it - but it gave my modest collection of Native American ornaments a chance to shine. Some jewel-toned balls and vintage glass garland complement the Pendleton muchacho blanket that I wrapped around the base.

The Christmas extravaganza happened in my daughter's living room; here's what it looked like after Santa paid his visit.

Pat that is so very nice. Love that mantle. Nutcrackers is one item I have yet (don't plan on) collecting. One granddaughter does have them.

Keitha what a beautiful place your daughter has decorated. Love your themed tree.

Our tree has been this little tabletop one ... since Hurricane Irene... next year, we'll go for a big one since Chevie seems to be ok with them... she didn't bother my mom-in-law's tree at all while we visited

the big one is her tree... with a wonderful eclectic mix of ornaments...

I love the Christmas season and getting to
see everyone's tree is so nice.
I hadn't done a tree for a very long time
for one reason or another and didn't realize
how much I missed doing one until I finally
did one again this year.

They say "better late than never", so here's a photo of our tree, the candle-bridge that always stands in the front window and my new little Santa ornament.

Great pictures Kathryn! Love your tree and that Santa ornament is so cute. That candle bridge looks really cool. I am thinking I may need to show this to hubby so he can see if he can make it for next year.

I am finally taking my trees down. I have 2 left - snowman which I will get later today and the one on the porch. The porch one won't come down until the weekend when it warms a bit. Too cold out there now.
