Halloween Card Swap - card-making time!!

Post by nchoney »

Looks like 9 of us total.... and no one else jumped in when I sent out the sign-up warning.... so let's call this 9.... and we can start making cards!! Yay!!

Debi

So - seems like lots of us are in the mood to make Halloween cards. Yay! (not only have I unearthed Halloween stamps.... I found way too much Halloween themed paper while cleaning up my scrap room the past couple days - so I'll be making some for at work, too!)

Signups start now.... I'd say we need to get the cards in the mail no later than October 15th so folks can get them and enjoy them for a bit. (If you can't join in on this swap, I'm sure we'll have something for November :-) )

Hmmm. You know, I could totally get into this. Truthfully, I'd be for both a card swap and an ATC swap. I have a pile of Halloween stuff!

At least we know they're going to someone who appreciates them! ;)

Once I know the deadlines, I "might" consider joining . We get back from OZ Oct. 17. Then a week getting over jetlag when I just vegetate so I might be able to do some cards. I vote for ATCs again!

It's been AGES since I've done a swap of any kind. I'm in! I can't believe I'm saying that. How many cards are we making? Or is this just an one-for-one kind of deal?

I'm ready to play!! Are we doing ATC's or cards? Maybe this is Debi's opportunity to try out the poll feature.

We can have both kinds of swaps if you want.... I'm just fishing for responses at this point. But this was about when Pam's postcard idea surfaced last year.

So... if we do cards, I'd say they need to be mailed out by the 24th of October at the latest to the US folks... possibly earlier to outside the US?

We'd be making a card for each person who signs up.... so... those swaps have been about 10 people each time, recently.

We can have an ATC swap going on at the same time... so that'd be the same deal on time frame.

more thoughts??

I would rather do one, it doesn't matter if it's an ATC or dared.

I've never been a fan of Halloween, but I wanna play, too, so I just ordered some dies, stamps, and paper. Cards, ATCs or both is fine with me.

I'm happy with either an ATC or a card but not both. After all *winter is coming* ( couldn't resist that) and some of us may want to do a Christmas swap of some sort.

** Tonight is the season finale of Game of Thrones - I'm not a follower (any of you?) of the series but my son is so I get an abbreviated version of it each week. 6 of his friends are coming here tonight (for dinner too) to watch the last episode.
