How About Gauche Alchemy?

Has anyone ever subscribed to them? I hate to sign up for 6 months without sampling a kit. They don't tell you a whole lot.

I've never seen anything from them,
but checking out their blog, if the photo
is representative of what a monthly kit looks
like, it seems very similiar to the Altered
Book Club from Mailbox Muse
Be Yourself, Everyone else is taken

How fun! I hope you love it. I started to order the Mixed Media Kit and realized I have all of it in my stash.

I finally signed up just before ReCreate. It arrived yesterday. I think it is October's kit. No mention of what it is but it has a sort of travel theme. here are some photos.
The box gets cool points.

Here is the stuff spread out. Lots of pages from old magazines, photos, postcards, washi tape that looks like a road, transparencies, other stuff including a plastic fish.

It's going to be challenging to use this stuff.

Oh jeez, don't laugh, but my friend Wendy had a huge stuffed swordfish hanging on her wall wherever she lived. She caught the thing on a fishing trip and was so proud of it. That's one of the few things I'd be able to use right off the bat in that kit.

I'm glad I have found a home for the fish. You may get it one of these days in the mail, Pam!

What wonderful stuff!
I can't wait to see what you do with it.
Marianne - you should seriously sell your journals on etsy.

Thanks, Pam, but I have never had much luck selling stuff. I don't think I hit the trends when they are trendy
I've had an etsy store-unopened-for about two years mostly to sell stuff from Mom's house and also some supplies and we are determined to get it open this month. Stay tuned!
