Beach recreate food
Beach recreate food
My schedule has been pretty hectic lately so I haven't had much time to think about meals This is the basic plans, I haven't figured out all the sides yet.
Sunday- dinner: Grilled Chicken Caesar salad with your choice of toppings and a dessert
Tuesday - brunch: frittata, fruit, some type of sweet potato side .....
Wednesday-dinner: lasagna, one meat, one veggie (you can have one or the other or a taste of both) and a salad
Cost will still be $10 per meal, just let me know if you are interested and which meals by Thursday. Due to the short notice, hold off paying until you arrive.

Pam.... thought you wanted to go eat at BoardWok.... it'll only be an option on Saturday night, while you're here. I don't think they're open on the weekdays yet.

I can skip Boardwok this year. Thanks for thinking of me though!
Would anyone like to make a dessert for Saturday night?

Eva... count me in for Sunday night... the salad sounds terrific! I'll have to pass on the dessert, though.

Peggy will be scrapping with us both weekends!
I think she said she'd join us for Saturday dinner... but salads aren't her thing so she'll wing it with Mike on Sunday night.

Everyone!
If you haven't done so already, be sure to let Eva know which meals you want. She needs a head count for each meal.

Okay, I'm embarrassed. I meant to post that Cheryl and I will be cooking supper Saturday night - Low Country Boil for $5 per person. If no one signs up to bring a dessert to share, I'll bring something along with me. For those of you who don't know, a Low Country Boil is shrimp, (turkey) kielbasa, corn, onions, & potatoes. There will be plenty of bread to soak up all that flavor.

I think we will have the makings for a dessert if we can get some ice cream along the way. Not sure that it will survive the 8 hour trip.pamcook wrote:Okay, I'm embarrassed. There's a Food Lion store at the south end of the shopping center where Tuesday Morning is. Sort of behind the Outback restaurant.
There's also ice cream at the local stores.

Thanks, Debi, I wondered if that little general store near the house would have ice cream.nchoney wrote:There's a Food Lion store at the south end of the shopping center where Tuesday Morning is. Sort of behind the Outback restaurant.

Also is that more upmarket food store near the Tuesday Morning still there or is there just the Food Lion?
