NOOOO!!!!!

Post by pamcook »

Why did I think it was a good idea to upgrade my phone? Not only did I loose 6 hours of my life trying to get my data moved, I've lost all my Notes. My Notes - where I stored all my re(create) information. I no longer have a list of who has paid - and how much they've paid.

I can't even believe this.

I do know we have plenty of spaces available!

Oh no, Pam....

I'm guessing you didn't have that backed up somewhere prior to the upgrade. :-(

Bummer Pam. I had a similar experience when I went from an iPhone to a Samsung...(not the flaming kind)...it blew apart all my contacts. Some showed up and others didn't. I'm still finding missing ones. Fortunately I have an iPad with all the contacts in tact. Hope you find a way to recover your notes.

Pam, in settings, iCloud, there is a icon for notes. Make sure it's green for your future backups of notes. If it was green, then your notes are in iCloud and can be transferred to your new device. I just did an upgrade and mine were being backed up on iCloud but didn't show up on my new phone. Originally only 4 notes showed up. I told her I had lots more so she turned something on and they all came over.

If you still have your old device, look on it. They should still be there. You should be able to back them up from there or at least see and print what you want.

Hope any of this helps and you get them to show up.

Yeah, old phone was erased so it could be returned. It's gone. Lesson learned.
