This is a stretch but I didn't know where else to post this. Gold Rush fever???
Layout about a visit to the site of the Ponderosa Ranch House (architectural inspiration?) on my family's first visit to California to see me in 1976. Bonanza loomed large in my family's history so it was a MUST SEE.
This cowboy paper and the title stickers are ancient in my stash so I am very pleased to finally see them used. Nothing exciting about it but it's another story told. And, hey, I journaled! Gold star for me.

Was it this one, Debbie? We didn't get it at night but I love the sign.

Loved the bowling motifs on the roof.

More birthday photos!
This is "one" layout in theory. The first two pages are back to back and cut down to 8.5" tall. The protectors are attached at the seam to make it more obvious they all go together. It was really not necessary (now that it's done) but that's the explanation.
Using this many embellishments probably makes some of you crazy but I love it!

I posted the incomplete pages somewhere but just now got around to adding the last photos. There was no place in the front yard to take a picture without glare. Sorry.
Ali said she's going to offer this Week in the Life "class" again in the spring of 2016. Shimelle's Learn Something New Everyday has followed close behind Ali's Week in the Life and it's a bit much. I feel like I'm repeating a lot but I suppose that's okay. Not sure I'll do either next year. I would probably enjoy the LSNE more if I did an art journal instead. Regardless, stories are being recorded and that's what's important to me.

Zain's first day of this school year. I can't remember what his grade is called there (he's in preschool obviously!)
Similar to Mia's page but different enough.

Here is a layout I did of Oliver. Not too happy with it, but I did something, none the less.

I printed the pic in black and white because the BRIGHT swim shorts on the back of the chair were giving me fits!

I made some goodie bags for the grandkids. When we return from vacation, I can fill them and get them in the mail. Found the idea on Pinterest and adapted it to what I had in mind. Nice & flat and everything is glued securely! I even put a layer of Wink of Stella over their faces. attachment=0]IMG_2237.JPG[/attachment]

Thanks!
Here are some postcards I made for a swap. The theme is "day of the dead" so I had to buy the stamp/die set, right? It was 50% off and I figured it was saving me a ton of time so I justified the purchase.
The background was really fun to do and I think, perfect for this project.
