6 of Clubs - Cowgirls

Post by pbp908 »

Even cowgirls get the blues. I can see some funky things coming from this subject. How about a cow with lipstick and a tutu?

The background for this card is a packing tape transfer using a picture from a magazine and the lovely ladies are from the Vintage Resources website.

Good one, Sue!
Thanks for giving this challenge some life. Maybe it will get the rest of us going again.

LOL! If you knew what our weather was like right now, there is no way I would trade living outdoors for housework, as much as I hate housework :)

This was a really hard one for me to relate to. Much searching online for inspiration. In April this story hit the news about a girl in Germany who trained a cow to jump hurdles. This is just one of the stories about them. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldne ... g-cow.html

Then I found that Cowgirl Up! is a phrase of encouragement and "can do" attitude which these two certainly have.

Thanks, I just love the look on the cow's face. When I first saw it, I thought it was a joke until I read some of the news items.

I saw that story and felt so badly for the girl - she wants a horse in the worst way - but had to admire her determination and attitude. Too bad she doesn't live in the states - there are several horse donation programs that she could have applied for.
