I've just moved Paula's selection to its own topic so you can all post your cards here. Paula says

Let's do the two of clubs and the theme will be "lost love". This could be anything from your first true love (human) to your favorite memory that has faded, to a loved 4 legged friend, to the love of an item,,,,,ie--car, flower, house, yadda, yadda, yadda. You get the picture..........have fun!

and I already thought of my 'lost love'. My beloved Elna sewing machine!

Here is my Lost Love:
My Elna sewing machine. I got it in 1981 in Australia and it had been a faithful companion until last Summer when it gave out while Robin was sewing her first quilt. We searched high and low for the electronic part that it needed. I finally passed it along to a woman in our local quilt group for parts as she has the same machine.

I used fabrics from some of my projects in the early 80s, still had snippets of some of them, and stiffened it with heavy interfacing before sewing it on the machine I inherited from my Mom. I divided the photo between the front and the back. I will attach some journaling eventually.

I still have a little catching up to do on these, but this one was easy.

This is my Nana who passed away in 1973. I still miss her so much.

Awesome cards here everyone! Here is mine. My lost love is my love for speed! My "mostest" favorite car I ever owned was my 1995 Mitsu 3000GT. I........ loved........... that........... car.............manual 5 speed..........low, fast and sleek. I traded it in for a 4 door, and yes it did hurt!! lol
