No theme.. whatever strikes my mojo at the time.. plus I have TONS!! of extra that need to be used up. :lol:

Here's mine, late but not lost. It's better in person--black background with black opal embossing, colored with purple and red twinkling h2os. Doesn't scan well at all!

Yay me!
I finally sat down and did this. I hope to eventually get caught up but...

I've been picking violets to make jelly and decided to press a few. The bird is distress embossing powder for a bit of texture. Very simple but I love it ;)

very cool! I've never heard of violet jelly, but I like what you did with the pressed ones...

I'm on a roll now... this is some clip art image (sewing pattern) and it's glued down on some homemade dark purple paper (which you really can't see) with some "vintage" red rick-rack (dated 1974 and 39 cents!) and an old black button.

Very cool! I have some of that old rick rack from the 70s somewhere. Guess I'll have to locate it now! :cool5:
