A Deck of Art....2 of hearts-childhood-3/18

The Deck of Art challenge is where you use old playing cards as a base for altered art. Once card is chosen per week, with a theme, and results are posted here.

Love the idea of exploring your childhood in your Deck of Art, Petra. Your really jumping right into this. I like the two I have seen so far.

But why does it have Rachelle's name under your photo?

I was going to ask that question too! That's the card I did for the 2 of Hearts.

Anyway, it's mostly collage, some distress inks and stuff...

I love this Pam, so appropriate for your thread about canning.

I'm not an official member of DOA, but it looks like so much fun, I thought I would join in (at my own pace). Here is my first piece.

I like it Jenni!
Are you going to do the entire deck in a theme, or what strikes you?

There are no official members, Jenni! Anyone can join in at any time and do them however you want to, hopefully the DOA Challenge will always be here.

I didn't know there weren't official members. I'm glad I get to play. I plan on doing them all, but I am a little slow, so bear with me.
