Distressing.....or stressing....

Post by Laurie »

It has been so long since I have used my distressing inks I didn't think they would work or would be dried up, but they weren't they were still good. But what did happen was I forgot how to use them. I Youtube a video, but I still did not have much success. Any tips or suggestions?

thanks,

What have you tried with them, Laurie, besides the blending in your other post? I find that even though they do seem juicy that I do better when I reink them.

An interesting exercise with them might be to take a few of Tim's tags and work through the steps for the backgrounds. Here's a link to the first yearly tags he did each month with many of the basic techniques he uses over and over. http://timholtz.com/category/12-tags-of-2012/

Or go back to youtube and watch some of Tim's demo videos on the basics. His videos are short and to the point unlike some of the amateur videos that tend to go on and on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UV-8nWHplaY

I might be tempted to mention that if you were at re(create) this weekend, several of us would be happy to help you in person.
I'm just sayin'...

Oh how Jenni and I want to be there. It just didn't work out this time. If it was closer I would go Saturday night...but just a little too far for a few hours.
