Nick's Journey

Post by ChrisR »

I posted the digilayouts I did for the last PSL documenting Nick's journey in my gallery. PSL really helped me get caught up and now I need to scrap the new photos from the last couple of months.

I think this is the link to the album

Wow Chris, how awesome of you to do this for him. I am sure it's been healing for you as well. In 1988 my youngest daughter( she was 12 ) had kidney failure and had to have a transplant, I made a scrapbook for her and she is 36 in May and still loves looking at it, I am sure Nick will too for many years to come.

Thank you so much for sharing it with us!!

Chris you and your family are beyond extraordinary. I just read through all your LOs and I don't have the sufficient words to express my admiration of your courage and strength. You have my continuing good thoughts coming your way for all of you. Your wonderful LOs will indeed be cherished and appreciated as Debbie has said.

Quite a journey for a little guy to have to make. So glad the end is in sight for all of you.

So happy to see you back here Chris and getting some crafty time for yourself. I think that Nick will really appreciate all the work you've gone through to make a very special book for him. I've tried keeping up with you all through FB and Caring Bridge - you and your family are amazing. Nick is lucky to have you all.

Wow! I just finished following the journey in the gallery! It's absolutely wonderful and even though I have seen most of them through following the psl, I hadn't seen them altogether before. Such a beautiful way to capture all those precious moments. Did you get to keep his radiation mask? I had one for my radiation therapy almost 5 years ago and decorated the mask. It was great art therapy for me. Hugs to you and the whole family as you continue this journey.
