A couple beading projects

Post by KatrinaGelino »

I'm a crafter of all kinds, and last week I got back into my beads and jewelry. Here are a couple
things I made: Paper Bead Necklace, and a Headband. I posted lots of photos and tutorials on
my blog If you'd like to check it out!

Oh pretty! Can you make the headband a bit larger and turn it into a Fascinator? Beau coup bucks in those things!

Beautiful!!!! Makes me want to get my beads out too. I've never made paper beads but it's on my perpetual "to try" list. That necklace is really pretty.

Beautiful, Katrina. Love the red paper beads.

Pam, what's a fascinator?

Fascinator are those funky hats that the Brits wore to the wedding. I've been looking at instructions for making them. For some strange reason, I'm fascinated by them. :tomato:

I had no idea that was what they were called (didn't watch the wedding). My boss took my co-worker and I out to lunch on (what happened to be) Diana's birthday and I offered to make us fancy hats if he took us to the tea room in town. We ended up going to the micro-brewery next door. I guess he thought I was serious.
