I love those Christy!

I think so far, this was absolutely my favorite technique. I pulled out all the stops and all my stuff! took awhile to clean it up, but it was great and the results...wow. I made myself proud.

most definitely. I find myself using this technique all the time now (though there are some pretty cool ones down the line  )

This reminds me of when a guy that I know and play trivia with brought his 3 year old daughter over to introduce me to her. I said "wow she's a doll" to which the little replied "I am not a doll, I'm a girl."

Used the technique to make the background for a swap I am in. 4x4 Chunky Book pages-"I Love Coffee"

Basic Grey paper, old book pages, colorbox ink, Distress ink & stamp from Moch Java.
Figured it easier to do a 12x12 sheet & just cut into pieces after.

I love this technique - but haven't been able to find the Lumiere paint (I think that's what we were supposed to use....).

I swear I've checked both JoAnn's and Michaels to no avail. I have a Dick Blick art store somewhat close by - should I be checking there?

Michaels has it but it is off in some corner. Not with most of the other paint, I stumbled upon it one time. But honestly I rarely use it for this technique. Sometimes I rub a bit of perfect pearls in with my finger.

Yep, Michaels has it, but it's in the art dept. on the lower shelves.

I bought mine at a large JoAnns-also in the art dept. You could get a multi-pack of small bottles or larger jars of things like gold. HTH
I need to get mine out and play with this technique. I got the book and then life got in the way.
