Just finished watching the first time through. Now to see if I've got enough paints to play with today's lesson.

I have none, either, so this is one that I'll be sitting out. Oh well, I can at least watch the vids.

I don't have any of Tim's Distress Paints. After the troubles I had with Dabbers, I wasn't tempted.

Do you all have good luck with them?

I have 2 of them; haven't tried yet and we're about to go fishing, so maybe I'll play later or tomorrow.

The paints are a lot more fluid than the dabbers. i've had no problem so far, but you do need to remember to shake them first so that the ball inside mixes everything (like mixing a can of paint).

I'm at work so will watch videos and work on tags tonight. :)

I wish I could say that I'm really impressed with what I saw of the Distress Paint, but of the 6 techniques I only found 2 that I'd use. Unfortunately, I like those 2 a lot so it looks like I'm going to be ordering some of it.

It seems to me that this really isn't a stand alone product like so many of his other items. It needs the addition of Distress Ink to make it interesting.

Just got home from the funeral home. No motivation to craft but I did watch 2 of his videos before a tree fell on our house tonight.
Yes, you read that right. How's that for being "Debbie Downer"?

We're okay and the tree only damaged a part of our gutter (as far as we can tell). Our neighbor's 19 year old son died in a single car accident. He was drunk and it's all so tragic, I don't know how they're coping. I remember the day he was born. Whew. I keep trying to focus on all the families who are celebrating because their loved ones get another chance with his donated organs.

Sorry for the ramble...back to the topic - I appreciated learning that his paints are permanent. Good to know and I liked the marbleized effect. Will I use it? Not sure yet. It does make beautiful cards.
