Valentine's Treasure Bouquets

Post by azemigh »

My swimming/crafting buddies got together last week to make these cute Valentine Treasure Bouquets. They are a take on the candy bouquets we're seeing all over this year and some of us wanted to do a little less candy, hence, the "treasure" part. My mom joined us and worked on a cute door decoration since she doesn't have room for a centerpiece. We all met at the dollar store to pick up some goodies for them and then met in our community room to assemble.

Since I'm sending mine off to my son and his fiance' I chose to use a plastic water cup as my base. Most of the girls chose a glass vase for there's. I did have to put some pebbles in the bottom to give it some weight. And I can't believe the little bear I found at the dollar store is chocolate scented. He's just too cute. I also wrapped the snickers bars that I used in red foil paper.

I really like the door decoration,
your Mom could probably make
a few and sell them :)
