Rachelle's Fairy Garden

Post by azemigh »

After months of scouring the beach for driftwood and then figuring out how I was going to do it, I have started my fairy garden. You may remember seeing the dragon a few months ago. I found a cool piece of drift wood for him to sit on and guard his treasure. The middle picture is of the large anchor piece from the front. I put a large crystal in the natural window. The last one here is the Wizard House. I have several more pictures up on my blog, but thought I would show a few here. I'll be making staircases and bridges, maybe a pond or fountain next.

I love this, Rachelle. Reminds me of the little fairy garden I made for a dollhouse I built. The extra photos on your blog are really nice.

I ended up having to move my fairy garden to a different spot as the original got gobbled up storing boat and kayaks. So I've moved it to a hollow stump near our driveway. I also made a little oyster shell fairy to live in the garden. The layout is mostly Random Doorways elements with a quote from Papillon.

Gorgeous Rachelle. I am so envious of your access to those beautiful pieces of driftwood. Debbie, you can never spoil your fairies too much; after all, you want them to look out for you.
