Colored pencil on dark cardstock
Re: Colored pencil on dark cardstock
Beautiful!
Re: Colored pencil on dark cardstock
Eva did a technique installing a more solid image with white pigment ink. Then coloring over the white then outlining with white gel pen. I did some of those with the CS sea creatures stamps. I didn't realize the colored pencils would show up on their own.
And this is fun easy coloring.

That was it - the pigment ink! I knew it was different but again, so pretty! This would be a great project to have on hand for long road trips.nchoney wrote:Eva did a technique installing a more solid image with white pigment ink. Exactly! Just do the stamping/embossing ahead of time and have a little clipboard and color away while traveling or watching TV. It really wasn't difficult coloring... just used a few shades of pencil for each color

I've done the white pigment ink version of that a few times and it came out very nice. I love your's. The colors are so nice. I have Derwent pencils, I have to try them plain on dark.

At one of the CS Retreats I went to, that is exactly how we did it. First the white pigment and then the coloring. But colored pencils are easier I think. And Debi, I revisited your cards and they are stunners.
