Puppy Love Cards

Post by azemigh »

I've been surfing pinterest a lot lately since I'm taking care of my mom and yesterday, I got to try one that I really liked. And, I got to use the doggy stamps I got from Pam a while back when she got that tremendous stamp find and shared with us.

Here are a few more. The ones with "having a ruff day" on them also have the "I woof you" stamped on the inside of the card.

I also got this tree die for Christmas and wanted to try it out and saw this one on Pinterest as well. I think I'm in love with this die.

It's fun to see what you did with the doggy set. I already had it before Pam's sale or I'd have snapped it up, there are "Airedales" in it! Are the hearts a stamp or die?

That tree is wonderful!

Really fun doggie cards, Rachelle. And I love the simplicity of your tree cards; I, too, consider that a favourite die right now.

Love them all but that tree is really a good looking die. May have to add it some day.

The tree cards are gorgeous, and the doggie cards are too cute!

At first glance, I thought that the trees were a really superb embossing job. Did you cut them out of gold paper? Or is the cut embossed? If it happens to be the latter, how did you do it? It seems like it would be really tough to heat emboss a die cut. But the effect is beautiful!

You were right the first time, Julie. Although not sure about the superb part, but they are die cuts that I embossed. One with silver and one with gold. They both have maybe 2 or 3 coats of the powder.
