Tried some new techniques

Post by nancine »

Finally tried some of the latest techniques from the Technique Junkie newsletter. There seem to be fewer and fewer I am interested in lately... probably because I've been stamping so long none of them seem new or exciting!

But I was playing with some new stamps and my new Big Shot (which I got for half off because of the number of orders at my monthly SU club!!) and tried a few out!

and here's another using some die cuts and new stamps.

this one is kind of self explanatory. Offset die cuts. Club Scrap papers, Too Kind is the name of the set the flower is from

this one is smooshed ink, basically making a little multicolored ink pad on baby wipes. These stamps aren't the new ones tho!

I have a gazillion of those embossing folders that I never use, and I always LOVE the effect of embossed paper on a card. I purchased all of those folders due to the TJ newsletter, and then never used them. Shame on me!

Love these cards Nancy. And thanks for the reminder that I need to revisit the TJ newsletters that I saved!

Very, very pretty. I, too, forget to use the folders until I see beautiful cards like these. I'd like to use them on layouts and embellies, too, since I'm making very few cards.
