Love it! I've got some sketches that have a similar concept with the 9 boxes on one side. I shy away from it because I feel like the photos would all mesh and get lost among each other. But the way you've left some of the squares for embellishments makes that problem go away, and it looks great! I'll need to remember that for the future when I'm browsing those sketches.

I had planned to use 8 photos - leaving only the center square open but it was just too much. Those photos went in the recycle bin. The patterned paper squares just seemed to calm the whole thing down. I don't like the left page - too much "red-space" but I'm done with it. Someday when I'm all caught up, I might add more layers to it.
