Re-do

Post by pamcook »

The original layout annoyed me every time I looked at it. When I took it apart, I ruined the background paper (the only thing I wanted to reuse). Eureka! Use what was left - here it is and I'm finally happy with it!

Sweet layout. But I could never tear a layout apart. Too many photos in my boxes to do that.

What an amazing photo.... so glad you captured that time in their lives. I wish I had one of me and my neighbor doing something like that... we were always going exploring together... brought back great memories! And the layout is super, too... perfect way to use some of the paper that survived your tear-apart.

That photo is so precious! You captured the sweetness for sure with your LO and all it's ephemera. Your scrapping instinct told you to re-do it and it came out perfect!

It's funny how I dismissed the ice cream cart cut out as "one I'll never have a use for" when I bought that pack. No, it has nothing to do with the picture but it just felt right.
Little ines grow so quickly in two years. Wouldn't it be great to get a similar picture this year? I need to put a bug in Mandee's ear...

The ice cream cart just seems to go with the magic of it all. Maybe around the bend on the other side of the woods, there's an ice cream cart that only they know about...

Marianne I like your fairytale explanation. I also like that ice cream cart.

Agree! I was like "what background paper?". That photo is precious!

So glad you're happy with the new layout. A photo that great needed to not be on a layout that irritated you to look at it.
