The layout was fun or the event?

Oh terrific LO! Looks like the activity and the making of the LO were both fun.

That climbing structure looks a lot like one in Legoland CA that Charley loved.

What a great layout! Water parks are so much fun! There's an indoor one about three hours from here that we've been to quite a bit, and without the worry of sunburn, all four of us hang out in the water for HOURS. Love it!

Both! Shimelle's page looks way less busy and I think it's the big photo on my page that make it feel too busy but I love it. I never would have thought to do anything like this. Printed at a normal 4x6, you couldn't see Chris & Kenan. We only had the one full day and we made the most of it at the pool!

Yes, that does look like fun Pam - both the day and the layout!

Love your layout Pam and I also love using large photos on the page, gets the viewer a lot for details. Good job.

Taking Farley's challenge to use up a kit. Doubt I'll get the whole kit used up but rather than shop from my stash for these FL pages, going to do my best to only use stuff from the Summer Dreams kit (Echo Park) The random yellow ticket cluster at the top right covers where I dropped my dark brown ink pad on the page.
Gave myself bonus points for using Picket Fence Distress Stain on the background. Shimelle used vellum and I was too lazy to search for any.

Love these colors, Pam. I've been using a lot of vellum again. I think it's an Audrey Yeager influence but also Shimelle.

Thanks all!
I should add my stash of frames to use "use it up" pile. There's only a few left anyway and they aren't my favorite embellishments anyway. Maybe they'll go in the "lose it" pile?
