Feel the heat

Post by Keitha »

Revisiting the Mojave Desert this week, via my Route 66 photos. I'm loving the pink in this collection, Journey by Crate Paper.

I'm enjoying your journey down Route 66. The colors are perfect for this LO.

And, not only does she do fabulous layouts, you get an education in film! The Bagdad Cafe, never heard of it before but it's on our netflix queue.

It's a quirky little German film. In fact most of the tourists at the Bagdad Cafe are Europeans, coming down from Las Vegas on tour buses. The rest of the clientele are mostly bikers as this stretch of Route 66 is popular with them, and there aren't many places to stop.

It's a year or so old, not sure if you could still find some in stores or not. Maybe it will show up in a paper pad in Michaels or Tuesday Morning. I'm sorry I didn't buy more embellishments, other than the ephemera pack. Guess I was trying to be good that day, lol.

For some reason I seem to need to age my supplies before I use them!

Great layout! Perfect kit for those photos too.

I don't usually buy brand new supplies. So I might find some of this at Tuesday Morning, too. :-)
