Meeting fairies

Post by jfugina »

Here is a layout I just did using the new CS digi kit (Gimme A Ring). It doesn't really feature the theme of the kit, but the colors worked well with the photos I had. I used the Q of Spades formula from the CS idea deck for the layout. TFL!

Yep, fairies. Thank the new Tinkerbell movie (she gets a double-spread all to herself.. coming soon). Poor Pooh and his pals were booted to make room. :(

These are really nice layouts. My 6 year old great-niece really likes the fairies too. More grown up than 'princesses'. Great colors, like this kit a lot!

How did you translate the signatures over like that? Way cool!

Pooh and friends are available for meet and greets over at the 100 acre wood park (where 20,000 leagues under the sea used to be).

Not too tough, acutally. Scan, magic eraser to erase the background, simple sharp outer bevel, then crop to fit. The bevel style was a little more than I wanted, but the pen lines were too thin to show up with most of the other bevels I tried.

Is that the playground area across from the pooh ride? I don't remember any 20000 leagues thing. We weren't too distressed by Pooh not being there, because we had dinner at the Crystal Palace Monday night. It wasn't a planned thing - we just called dining once we got to MK that night, and asked if there was any sit-down available anywhere, and they said we could do there in an hour. :-) So we had the hundred acre wood - tableside. :-)

Love the fairies!! This kit goes wondefully with your photos. I'll have to beg my sister to send me photos when they go to Disneyland next time, as I know all the girls will be dying to go see Tink. Thanks for explaining the signature thing... I gotta try that!
