WDW trip

This is all from my trip last August with DH and my oldest niece. There will be many many many pages, so you were warned! I'm doing my level best to make a dent in the Disney stash I have, some of which is probably 15+ years old by now. And yeah, using up sticker sheets and such too. The Scrapbook Generation sketches are coming in very handy, so thank you to Julie for the huge recommendation there.

The photos with words across them are courtesy of my niece's instagram account. She was having fun.

When I printed photos, somehow I managed to duplicate a few, so I resurrected an old layering technique. The middle photo hopefully shows that.

Views along the way, including the walk up to Fanstasmic! and our official photos for the event. The Mickey head shaker box is a Queen & Co. set that comes with dies, die cut double-sided foam, and die cut acetate sheets... all I had to do was provide the shaker element.

Great pages! Keep 'em coming, I love Disney layouts. Your product may be old, but it's perfect; I'm so much more a fan of themed product for something like this than all generic stuff; if you can't have fun with Disney photos, when can you? I really like some of the details you've captured, like your in-flight movies, waiting for Fantasmic!, etc.

Thanks all. :D given that this was our first time there I'm documenting a lot more than I would have if it was Disneyland again. I love Disneyland, but been there a lot so I only try to document the new stuff.

Chloe bought a couple Tsum Tsums (the plushies in her hand) and was messing with them while we waited for the show to start. She and I both have Mickey ears that light up in various colors while Fantasmic! is playing. I believe they work for World of Color in California Adventure too, but I don't know for sure.

There's actually 2 sides to that middle photo page, as I wanted the photos but didn't want to scrap them all. A couple of the Fantasmic! photos were actually professional ones, given to me as part of our Photopass package. That was actually really cool, as there were photos of somethings I didn't catch, and every park we went to we got an extra set of photos.

The end of Fantasmic! was a steamboat piloted by Mickey, full of Disney characters. And the next one was a photopass picture taken by a Disney photographer, with the Hollywood Tower of Terror in the background.

Photos as we walked back through the park, and selfies while waiting for our bus to the resort.

So, small story with the next few layouts. You'll notice they are all various cars from Cars, and that my niece is sitting on most of them. We didn't realize you weren't supposed to actually do that, but it wasn't until we had done it with most of them before we were busted! The Art of Animation resort has three themes to their wings... Finding Nemo, Little Mermaid, and Cars. And yes, we were on the Cars side.
