Instead of working this morning I'm poking around some shopping sites, and noticed that Mama Elephant has some stamp sets that include both a front-of-card greeting as well as several sentiments suitable for the inside of the cards. I know this was something we talked about a few months ago, so wanted to point these out for any card makers who might be interested. This is the new Christmas set, but there are others as well: https://mamaelephant.com/collections/ne ... ful-wishes

I love having the inside sentiments on hand. Sometimes I want to write quite a bit in a card - sometimes not. They're so nice.

Those are nice. And, I see they have some other sets of inside greetings that are good, too!

And on the same subject, I noticed in the bookstore yesterday that CardMarker magazine have come out with a special issue that is ALL sentiments for writing on the inside of cards. Looked like a really handy way to have a good reference library of those at your fingertips, if you make a lot of cards.

Back in my early card making days, I would choose a sentiment and add it to my card using Word and my printer. A bit time consuming but I liked having a choice of fonts and font size.

Good to know Keitha, thanks.

Remember years ago...there were those smallish books of quotes?

Remember Thena...think that was her name...She had quote books.

I still have one called "Quote unquote", by Designing With. Copyright 2004. I got rid of a few other authors along the way.

I just searched for that Cardmaker magazine Keitha mentioned and found you can download it free here. http://emagazinepdf.com/2017/08/53561/

Not sure it is legal and it says it's not a secure site. They have a zillion magazines that are free.

Addition: there are a lot of these download magazines free sites. Some say they are secure like this one.
