I haven't had any trouble running different vellums through the Cuittlebug with embossing folders. Maybe other machines are rougher on it. I love the look of dry embossed vellum.

I did some dry embossing in the "old days" with a stylus. I forgot all about that, and I have some folders that would look good on vellum.

I played for a few minutes with a sheet of vellum, inks, and a stencil. Not wild about the stencil, but this was mostly to see if it would work, and it does!

Now if they'd just leave me alone so I can play with some stamps....

Beautiful. I made a cactus fold-a-long this evening. Will photo and post tomorrow. Love it.

I like how that turned out Pam.

I do intend to dry emboss some vellum sometime soon. I even wrote it down, since I'm in the middle of 5 kinds of chaos and don't know when I'll come up for air again.

Also - I know I still have some of that green vellum from that CS holiday kit that was mentioned. I need to make sure that piece is comingled in with the rest of my vellum so I can consider it in my embossing endeavors.

Here's what I find frustrating: you see a great technique or product on a video and order it. Then when it comes, you have no idea what you were going to do with it, or can't find the video again.

True. I went looking for the video using that collection and searched for days before it occurred to me that it was Shimelle who used it.
