WRMK Quickstik

Post by mpizzazz »

Does anyone have one of the Quickstik tools for picking up tiny things? I have one and don't use it very often so the sticky stuff dries out on the tip. I can't wind it any tighter to push out more of it. There are about 3 threads left where I should be able to wind it. There's lots of the green sticky stuff inside.
Is this another one of those tools that you have to use all the time to keep it working?

I have one that even predates yours - mine is branded QuicKutz! I can't get it to tighten the last couple of threads either; not sure if that's because it's dried out or not, although when I poke the underneath side of the sticky stuff with another tool it seems sticky enough. I was able to pull a bit out the top and break off the old end and it seems to work okay; but for all I've used it in recent years I might as well toss it.

Same here. One of those impulse purchases that wasn't really something I needed. I'm not even sure where it is right now either.
