LOL with the coffee cup! I scored a cup from my son, so I didn't stop off at Sbux.

YES, Farley I got the accessories! Here's a card I made for my niece Erin. Birds colored on vacation!

I keep looking at those darned birds and accessories and thinking "Do I really need them? Will I really use them?" I think I'm getting beyond those questions now and I'm just going to order the dratted things.

No decorative Starbucks cups anywhere around me. Not even at the airport. Maybe when we land in Seattle?

Those decorative cups were only a brief thing. I went into a different SBX today being greedy for another one (two aren't enough LOL) but they had no more of them. Sigh.

I was thinking when I take apart the second one, I should scan it in case I really mess up the real deal or use the scanned one to color. But the paper the cup is made out of is quite nice. I've gotten as far as taking one apart and cutting it into a square, which was not easy. I kept squaring it up from one side to another and I'm lucky I have anything to work with other than a big hole.

What are you all talking about with the cups?

Check this out Marianne. It's crazy I know but I am in the process of coloring my cup right now. It isn't a requirement however.

These birds are just too damned cute. There! I said it. But I really can't justify the purchase. I don't think I would use them enough to justify. I am so happy for those of you who have invested so I can keep smiling all the time. I do think it's the greatest thing Timmy has offered in a long time, if not ever.

Sheesh, it's taken me two days to do Day One and it's nearly Day three!

Well this was a fun card to make being that I'm a coffee-holic. The owl is from Unity. I had a fall sentiment stamped, colored and cut out but it just didn't seem right. Maybe I'll add some kind of doodad to it later.

OMG! Great cards and coloring.

I'm resisting those cute birds for now.
I've got CS owls and a chickadee and a couple of SU birds.
Need to use them, but they are so darn cute!

Day Two and Three using the Alisa Burke free image that you too can download. Just head over to the October card sketch challenge where I posted the link.

First card is the gelato water color and second is done with Copics but first I swiped it with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink to tone down the white background. On this first card it's hard to see that I used Imagine Crafts irRESISTible pico embellisher in shimmer. It also comes in clear and black. This is my new favorite embellishing tool. I also used it on "joy" on the second card. It gives the look of embossing with a hint of "shimmer".
