I have been coloring every day - I challenged myself to actually DO and finish this challenge! Sometimes the coloring hasn't made it to a card or anything yet,

this was a quick day - stamp on watercolor paper. Scribble Distress Markers and spritz with water. Let it do it's own thing.

Beautiful cards, Nancy! When I first saw those Tim birds, I didn't like them at all but your cards are swaying me toward liking them!

Nancy these cards are outstanding. You are so amazing at how you've been able to keep up with this challenge.

I haven't colored anything since the day before Father's Day and the month is nearly over!

I fell off the wagon when Mom and niece Lexi arrived. Maybe I should start again on July 1. I never win any prizes anyway.

And Nancy, I've already told you in various social media how much I love your birds. Adorbs.

I've pulled out my watercolor pencils (several different sets... have them all in one place, now.. yay!) and have stamped some images using Staz-On ink on watercolor paper and I've been sitting in the living room in the evenings lately, just coloring and then using the water brush to watercolor images...

I noted last night that it really IS relaxing... and I'm having fun making things that will be embellishments in the next batch of layouts... photos from the botanical gardens... I've done some hibiscus images from my CS stamps... and some roses and lilies... and next I'm going to try those CS poppy stamps and see how the red turns out... I know there were poppies in the garden... some red and some red/orange...

once I get a chance to snap some photos and then drag those to the computer and upload them here, I sure will!!

I'm going to post this here even though June and this challenge are over. I fizzled out in June but finally colored at Wendy's house yesterday.
This is another of the black and white collage cards that were in some kit of stuff from somewhere. I never really thought I would use them. Colored pencils and Distress inks.

I feel honored that Marianne (a coloring master) completed that masterpiece at my humble kitchen table yesterday.

She's got an extraordinary eye and amazing patience! :creating:

Wow Marianne, this is another gorgeous one! Your coloring is lovely.

Yesterday I made a not so quick (and very late) birthday card using a Stampendous stamp and white pigment ink and white embossing powder that I then painted with the Zig Clean Color Brush Markers. The background is a wash done in Distress Ink. I created a shadow with a light grey Copic marker. I can't tell you how much I love those Zig markers. They are fabulous.

Thank you, it was very relaxing to color and talk. I think the slower I color the more I talk!

What Wendy didn't say is she is coloring and watercoloring in The Enchanted Garden book. Those are some very detailed designs that must take days to color! :-o

I love that white embossing, Farley! I have sworn off markers but your enthusiasm for the Zigs is making it very difficult....
