Farley those cards are so nice. Their story one is my fave. I'm not a coffee drinker but always love those cards. Love your layout Julie, those kids are growing up in a flash!

Just to prove that I have been working this weekend. But no one kit has been killed. Yet.

I didn't kill anything this weekend (not even a mouse) but.... I DID finally sit down and play play play....

Jen had mentioned the Spellbinders die club... Makers Mart... and so I had to subscribe... I got the small monthly set... it's $7.50 and shipping.... but here's a pic of what we got this month..... and.... a pic of the card I made....

used my Tim Holtz word dies for the "thank you" ... and played with my new Clarity brushes to brush the distress ink on the background.... and I used that pop of blue (inspired by Pam's challenge)

Terrific card and playtime with your dies Debi.

I'm done! Twelve cards total. Five cards is all I could stand making today. But I'm happy and kept them reasonably simple using more of the enamel stickers or cut out able items.

The card base on the last one is the only thing SSS. Papers are all from Echo Park. I greatly disliked that particular pink and felt it was really unattractive with the accompanying patterned papers. Hence the EP papers. There are 4, 6X6 papers left out of the two kits that I dislike. I'll use them for some kind of die cuts perhaps.

Last two.

First card is all SSS. Second card is half and half. The balloons and kitty are from a Mama Elephant stamp and die set. Can't see it here but the balloons and kitty have a lot of Wink of Stella for glitz.

Debi - that die cut card is stunning!

Farley - nice job on the rest of those cards! They're very cute, and someone is really going to enjoy receiving them.

So one of my goals was to kill the Birthday Basics paper pack from Stampin Up. Some of it had been used previously. Here are two birthday layouts I made with it using my PMU sketches. Mallory's 6th and my 40th. Was I ever that young?

I should have asked for Bonus points for using a Project Life card. Plus a birthday stamp that had never seen ink.

Next is another bridge fold card requested by hubby for his bestie. I really love this fold. Soooo easy and packs a punch.
