Post by nancine »

Happy May Day! Spring has sprung around here, and they are saying temps are going into the 80-90 degree range this week! I wore my shorts this weekend! Yippeeeeee

Here is the challenge for this month and a couple cards too!

and here's another card, using the three items in the center row down. Spring, birthday and fun fold. This is a Diorama card - which is one of the lessons this month over at Stamp Nation. I can't link you there, but I found this that will give you instructions http://juliedavison.blogspot.com/2014/1 ... -card.html
I used some Club Scrap paper from Dahlia and then stamps from the newest kit Cherry Blossoms - just right for a spring birthday huh?! Stamped on watercolor paper and a soft watercolor done then some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen for the dark pink "dots" on the blossoms.

Very nice, Nancy! The calendar says it's spring here too - but you'd never know it by the weather. You might have had shorts on, whereas I wished for my down jacket and gloves on the weekend. The daffodils are loving this wet, cool weather, but even their cheer isn't quite enough to make me appreciate it.
I have, however, finally put the snowflake cloth away off the table in my studio and replaced it with something more in keeping with the season.

That's a really cute verse, Nancy! "slightly older in other places" indeed!
