I feel I'm in good company...on both counts.

Gosh project #1 is done and put to bed already! Lucky for me...my son asked if I would make him a batch ouf "simple" thank you cards for the many thoughtful graduation gifts he has received.

So here I am up just past midnight finishing these cards when I realized it was June 1st! I used the same graduation themed paper that I used for the "class of 2016" table center piece I made. I bought loads of it " just in case". Smart me, huh?

Those are nice cards! Fun without having to be cartoony (why are most graduation embellishments cartoony?).

I wondered if any one would be up creating past midnight! Cause, you know, we're all a bit mad!

Day #2: I've had a very short notice about an impromptu birthday party tomorrow so I whipped up this card using the Dina Wakley sketchy birds. I painted them with Zig water color brush markers. For the bamboo and sentiment I used Distress inks. A strip of Washi tape down the side to finish it off.

Not all postings in the future will be made just after midnight. I eventually need to sleep. But what the heck...I've made a card for CAD...card a day.
