Very very cute. I've bought a few of those box card designs but haven't tackled them yet. Looks very intimidating.

Thanks all.

Jen I was surprised at how easy this particular one was to make. It's a Lori Whitlock and the files were well organized. I did have to move a number of elements to individual pages in order to cut out of different colored papers. I thought I was going to have to "group" the large base so the score lines would move with the card itself, but it was already grouped. The base did require a 12x12 sheet but all the others I cut on 8.5x11 paper. I made this in about an hour which I think is pretty good considering all the parts.

Project #16

This is one stamp that I've had for years and never really made anything with it. I colored the designs with Copics. I thought of cuting it up to make 2 or 3 cards but got lazy. I embellished it with a pretty strip of aqua and gold Washi.

You have the best Copic skills! I really, really like the colors you used. Bonus points for that washi. I might need it in my life...

Love the pop up card. Maybe I should give those a try. Your Copic card is beautifully done as well. Very nice shading.

Thanks everyone! I always feel so good when I finally use a stamp.

Pam that washi tape is from Hobby Lobby. It's really quite pretty. The gold looks like it is painted onto the aqua tape so it's not solid but rather has a dry brush look. LOVE it. It came with a companion tape of polka dots, some of them being in gold.

My Copic skills are the pits. The card is wonderful - I don't think you should even consider cutting the images apart.

Project #17: On Monday we had a visit from Marianne and Ray! They came through town on their way to Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed lunch at our home and lots of talking and catching up. We all agreed that we didn't think we'd be seeing each other so soon again. It was only last Fall when they were in California on their way to Australia. What was funny was our opening the door to take a short walk after lunch to find a big box on the doorstep. Right away Marianne and I knew what it was...Laurie's scrap kit swap box! So after we returned we opened it.

The base and 2 patterned papers on the LO are from her kit as are the wood veneer arrows. A special note: Marianne and Ray arrived in style in their smart British-racing-green Mini Cooper. So I had to use the journal card and green SUV sticker.

Very nice page. The little car embellishment is perfect and looks a lot like their car.

Wonderful! Isn't it fun that Marianne and Ray are doing a PAO Hop around the country?
