Non-challenge Cards

Post by paddlegal »

I'm really in the mood for making whatever I feel like making this weekend. I have an assortment of new paper, stamps and dies from my Mother's day shopping spree.

First off I couldn't wait to play with the Keurig machine die set from Taylored Expressions. It's just amazing in all its little details. The first card was made with some of that great textured silver card stock from CS Culinary. I hoard every scrap of that. The fun background paper is from Shimelle's True Stories. LOVE that paper pad with so many coffee themes. Second card's background is a silver metallic paper that is scrumptious. Finally the floral card. Stamp is from Penny Black and I colored it with my Tombow markers.

I love the cards! Really good colors as well.
I need a cup of coffee now.
Altenew had a daisy stamp giveaway recently. You've motivated me to use it.

The Keurig is cute, but I love the echinacea card.

Thanks everyone for your comments!

Pam thanks for the info on the flower. The name on the stamp is just "sunbursts". Now I must look up the echinacea flower to know it's actual color. I used to drink echinacea tea when I had a cold or thought I was coming down with one.

I just checked what the flower actually looks like...Gosh, I wasn't far off the mark with the coloring for the pinkish version. Funny!

Cute cards. What die will they think of next?

Speaking of dies, does anyone know what happened to Top Dog Dies? I can't find them any more. I was wanting some of their dog dies. Now I'm having trouble finding them.

And I'm sure it's just my monitor and that is brown coffee dispensing, but it looks kinda red here
