Summertime challenge week 2

Post by pamcook »

Signs of summer
Again, more of a journaling prompt. What happens around you that says summer is almost here?
I journaled that soon we'd see lightning bugs and when I walked past the window last night, there they were. Our blueberries will begin to ripen soon. The biggest sign for me is seeing early summer vegetables at the farmer's market. Best of all, a box of ripe peaches from GA. Bliss!
Giving myself bonus points for including a picture of myself!

Great layout, Pam. I must remember to take my camera when I go to the farmer's market next.

I should have said again that the topic can apply to whatever season you want to document your thoughts & feelings about. You know how I feel about "rules".

You're so funny! I was sweating like a pig and asked Joel to hurry and get a picture before I melted.

I love your LO so much I want to crawl into it! Everything about the LO works so well together. Awesome colors and love the names of the summer months peeking through. Love seeing you too in it.

First we see birds collecting nesting material and then we see them flying about with their beaks full of food. AND THEN they bring their babies into our garden.

Pretty colors! Thanks for joining in!

I found the remains of that kit while sorting the other night. It remains one of my all-time favorites as far as the colors go.

Somehow I'd missed this layout Kathryn; I really like it. Thanks for adding the species - not one I'm familiar with.
