Debbie, these are wonderful!

BTW - the intense blue of the glaciers is caused by the density of the ice. (That's about the only science fact that I know about Alaska. ;) )

So pretty! I love how the papers make her shirt color stand out.

You go girl! I like those sketches, thanks for sharing them. I've a question for you Debbie, and anyone else who cares to share: we're seeing layouts from a few different subjects here. How do you decide what photos you'll scrap next? Do you keep a box of printed photos ready to scrap or keep a list - and then do you stick to that? I seem to spend so much time deciding what I want to scrap next. Even working on Route 66, I'll do a few pages and then feel like I want to do something else. Trouble is, it takes me ages to decide what that 'something else' will be. In my case I print my photos at home as I go which is probably part of the problem, but I like to use sketches with different sized photos so printing them in advance doesn't work for me. Curious as to how you keep the momentum going.

Very pretty page! I like one page sketches with several photos.

Keitha, I might possibly have scrapbooking ADD. Ooh! I forgot about that (paper/tag/kit...)! It would be perfect with that picture...I love that sketch, the ____collection would work...Hey - I thought I was finished scrapping that event... No rhyme or reason to it.

I always have a pile on my table separated into each grandkids category and they each have their own albums. Then for us I try to scrap chronological on our vacations. I'm done with Alaska Cruise and now it's on to our 12 state trip we took in October. I'm almost caught up! Holy Buckets! I'm taking a break on our photos and doing some for each of the grandkids. I have a Book of Me I work on too. I want to scrap my first husband since he is Shelly's biological dad but I don't have any photos of us! It only lasted a couple years but he was a part of my life. Any ideas on how to do that?

That's a tough one. Use any random photo that he's in or a photo of he and Shelly, even if you're talking about your own relationship or the photo doesn't match the story. Would someone else have a photo of him or you both together that you could get a copy of? Photos of places that were significant to your relationship: where you lived, church you were married in, restaurant you liked to go to - sometimes you can even find those online. Failing photos, any paper ephemera from when you were married, i.e. wedding invitation. Of course having said that, I have no idea what ever happened to my marriage license. I do know where my divorce papers are though!
