Animal Scrapbook - Baby Shower gift`

Post by nchoney »

So... the animal scrapbook is complete.... whew!!!

I kept it super simple since it'll be a book for a child.... but it still took forever... lots of photo printing and diecutting... but I'm happy with the outcome.

The baby's name will be Peach... so the inside title worked as a little rhyme. Yay!! :-)

You can view the pages at this gallery - http://debid.weebly.com/animal-scrapbook.html

The gallery images are rectangles... but the pages are 8x8 squares (resized fairly small) ... once you click on the first one, you can click the arrow on the right of the photo and it'll scroll through the whole gallery

I mostly used diecut images from my Slice design cards... but you'll be able to tell which ones are other dies...

Debi this is jaw-dropping-outstanding! Your simple die cuts are terrific and so are your photos. What a treasure for Peach...loved your poem BTW.

Thanks!!

The poem was a happy accident... I was trying to figure out where the animals came from - that I actually had words I could cut out... and then I was running it by Mike in a totally different order and got slap-happy when my brain said "beach rhymes with Peach.. I need to rearrange those" and then Mike said "you could just buy a book" LOL He does actually get it.. that I wanted to make the book... he was being silly at that point. :-)

Lonesome Dove...what a great book!

Oh! Back on track - such a nice, thoughtful gift! She will treasure it, I'm sure.

I can't believe how fast you put that all together!! My head is spinning just looking at all that you did. I thought you were going to say, you put Mike to work making diecuts. :-o
